It was fun for all of us to see the details, especially in the different-themed scenes.
Of course, the greatest works (in size, for sure) were the American historical landmarks: Independence Hall, the Statue of Liberty, the White House, the Washington Monument, etc. My favorite was the detail on the Supreme Court building.
Most of the pictures aren't too great; and a picture couldn't do it justice anyway.
You might notice the face Ellie's been practicing in a bunch of the pictures.
On Monday, we went to the Cave Without a Name. We had heard it was pretty nifty and we thoroughly enjoyed our private tour. As much as I love remembering our time in caves, I've gotten so I don't like taking pictures. For one thing, they never look as cool as it really is. For another, you miss the experience when you try to take pictures. However, the kids loved the gift shop while we waited and we had to take a picture of this amazing seat Natalie's sitting in. It used to be an old Indian canoe, and it's been bent into a chair!

Now those are some amazing legos!! Very cool. Did Natalie like the cave? Atticus is starting to get scared of the dark... then again, her whole family was there! So good to see Hared in these!!
