So Long, Kindergarten!

Isaac's last day of Kindergarten came earlier than the rest of his classmates'. I was worried about taking him out early for a lot of reasons, but we couldn't get around it. Luckily, it turned out to be a really special day for him and for everyone in his class.
His teacher is the BEST. I've never seen the likes of her. She LOVES the kids and the kids love her. I know Isaac and I do. Here she is with three days' worth of teacher appreciation presents from us.

Isaac was presented with his certificate of completion and, best of all...
...a book she compiled for each student, "Letters From My Friends." It is so special, complete with pictures they drew of him, spiky bangs and all. She did something similar for his birthday--sweet, huh?

They are a pretty close-knit group. I love them at this age!

They practiced their last day's presentation for parents on Isaac's family. "Start spreading the news..."

With Cody, his good buddy.
Can you see why we were reluctant to go?

Guadalupe River

We enjoyed going to Guadalupe State Park with some dear friends in May. The kids had almost as much fun as the adults. We miss the Eddingtons since they have moved! And, although the Blatters are still in the neighborhood, we don't see them as often since the ward was split. But here were some good times with great people.

The Brothers Run

On May 19th, Jared took the boys to race in the Kids Run 1/2 mile race on base at Lackland. They had a great time and did really well.
Looking super-ready.

Of course, there's the warm-up fun...
I love how Noah just keeps staring at the camera as he goes by. He cracks me up!

Isaac ran an extra lap, so Noah was waiting for him.

And after a race well-run.

For REALs

Yes, this is a post.  The looooong absence was due to my having too many pictures on this blog. After much soul-searching, many excuses, and even more procrastination, I finally bit the bullet and deleted some of the first posts so I could have enough space to continue this blog thing. It's all in a book anyway. That's the goal of the blog for us. I can't stop keeping a history of our life with three young'uns now.

So, to keep you on the edge of your seat, here's a few random pictures:
